What we see on the bench
The Sebo symptoms we diagnose most often, with the typical cause and the bench-side fix:
| Symptom | Cause | Fix | Range |
|---|---|---|---|
| Felix brush roll not spinning | Belt or hair wrap at end caps. | Belt and brush inspection. | $30 to $65 |
| Service Box light | Saturated bag plus filter. | Full Service Box swap. | Bag and filter cost plus $0 labor when same-day |
| K3 lost suction | Hose crack or AirBelt seal wear. | Hose or seal replacement. | $60 to $110 |
| Cord wear | Standard wear at year 5 to 8. | Cord and strain relief replacement. | $70 to $95 |
What we stock for Sebo
X4, X5, X7 Service Boxes (bags plus exhaust filter). Felix bags and charcoal filters. K-series MicroHygiene filters. Brush rolls for the Felix and the AirBelt power head.
Repair or replace
Sebo machines are usually worth fixing. A $90 belt and brush rebuild on a 10-year-old Felix Pet is a strong choice when a new Felix runs $700+. The Sebo platform is one of the longest-lived in current production.
Common questions
- Are Sebo bags expensive?
- Sebo X4 Service Box runs about $35 for the bag and filter bundle. The bag interval is long because the bags are tall and dense, so total cost per year is competitive with cheaper bag brands.
- Is Sebo a good pet vacuum?
- The Felix Pet with the charcoal MicroHygiene filter is the strongest dedicated pet model we sell. Sealed-system HEPA equivalent, easy filter swap, lifetime brush roll on the upright variant.
- How long does a Sebo Felix last?
- 15 to 20 years with the regular Service Box discipline. We see Felix units that came in for their first service at year 12.
