How to know if your Miele is HomeCare
The HomeCare badge is printed on the box and on Miele's web order page for the model. The model designations include the words "HomeCare Collection" or "HomeCare Pure" where applicable. If you bought from a non-authorized seller, your purchase is not HomeCare regardless of model.
Why this matters at the 15-year mark
A typical Miele household keeps the vacuum 15 to 20 years. Over that period:
- The standard warranty covers the first 2 years parts and labor and the first 7 years on motor and casing.
- HomeCare doubles the inclusive warranty (5 years) and extends motor coverage to 10 years.
- HomeCare effectively reduces 3 years of out-of-warranty risk to 0 and reduces 8 years of motor risk to 5.
For most households that single math justifies the dealer purchase over a gray-market Amazon listing.

- Standard Miele residential warranty is 2 years inclusive (parts and labor) plus 7 years on motor and casing. HomeCare is 5 years inclusive plus 10 years on motor and casing. Both warranties require purchase from an Authorized Dealer to be valid.
