Virginia Vacuums is an Authorized Miele Dealer and warranty service center. Bring your Miele in, we will check warranty status on the model and serial, and file the claim on your behalf if eligible. The work happens at our Alexandria bench.

What to bring
- The vacuum, including the attachments that came in the box if available.
- Proof of purchase from an Authorized Dealer (receipt, order number, or registration).
- Model and serial number (printed on the underside of the canister).
If you bought from Amazon or Costco
We can still service the vacuum. The Miele factory warranty does not apply to most non-authorized purchases, but our standard repair service does. Free diagnosis. We will tell you what the warranty math looks like before any work starts.

- What does Miele's residential warranty cover?
- Two years inclusive (parts and labor) plus seven years on motor and casing for the standard line. Five years inclusive plus ten years on motor and casing for the HomeCare Collection.
- Do I need to register the warranty?
- Yes. Register by mail to Miele Inc., 9 Independence Way, Princeton NJ 08540, or by email to ProService@Mieleusa.com. Bring proof of authorized-dealer purchase when you bring the vacuum in for service.
- Will my warranty be honored if I bought from Amazon or Costco?
- Miele structures the residential warranty to apply only to purchases from Authorized Dealers (including select Authorized Internet Dealers). Third-party Amazon storefronts are usually not authorized.
- How long does warranty service take?
- Most diagnoses and bench work are same-day. Parts orders from Miele typically run 5 to 10 business days.
- What if my Miele is out of warranty?
- We perform standard repairs on any Miele residential vacuum at any age. Free diagnosis, transparent quote, most jobs done at the bench.
