- How often should I replace a vacuum belt?
- Most uprights need belts every 6 to 18 months. Inspect every 3 months.
- Can I install a belt myself?
- Yes on most uprights. Two screws and a few minutes. The trickier ones are powerhead motor belts on canister vacuums; those are bench jobs.
