Likely causes
- HEPA or AirClean filter is past its service interval
- Charcoal filter is saturated with odor
- Filter timer strip has been activated
- Filter was replaced but the marker was not reset
- Wrong filter size installed

- Identify whether the vacuum uses AirClean, HEPA, or Active AirClean charcoal filtration.
- Check the date or marker on the filter.
